4 Days | 100+ Speaker | 100+ Sessions | 9 Workshops | In-Person
JCON EUROPE 2025 returns as one of the leading Java community events in Europe. Last year’s edition welcomed participants from 56 countries across six continents. The 10th edition will not only feature a packed schedule of technical sessions and live coding formats, but will also place a stronger emphasis on personal exchange and community interaction. Several curated networking formats will complement the conference program, offering attendees direct access to speakers, experts, and peers.
The following formats have been confirmed:
- Live coding on the big screen
Held once again at Cinedom Multiplex Cinema in Cologne, JCON EUROPE offers a conference format unique in Germany: all sessions are presented with live coding on the big screen. Speakers demonstrate code in real time, creating a high-impact, cinematic learning environment tailored to developers. - VIP Party (Wednesday, 7:00 PM)
An exclusive evening event for VIP ticket holders (JCON Premium Pass) and invited guests. The format provides direct access to speakers, developers, and industry experts in a private setting. Food and drinks included. The venue will be announced separately. - Mentorship Hub (Daily)
New in 2025: Small-group sessions with Java Champion Bruno Souza and selected speakers. Held on the 2nd floor, the format focuses on career development, open source, and skill building. - 1:1 Speaker Meetings
Conference participants can schedule individual meetings with over 100 speakers. These slots are ideal for technical follow-up, specific questions, or professional exchange. Booking is available via the official JCON Scheduler. - Exhibition Area & Live Demos
The central exhibition space offers access to leading vendors, live technology demonstrations, and scheduled 1:1 business meetings. - Happy Hour (Tuesday and Wednesday, from 6:00 PM)
Open networking sessions with complimentary drinks held in the expo area. Designed for informal exchange among attendees. - Live Q&A via Slido
All sessions are supported by Slido. Attendees can submit and vote on questions in real time using their devices. Selected questions are answered live on stage.
