Call for Papers for JCON EUROPE 2026 Extended Until October 24

The Call for Papers (CFP) for JCON EUROPE 2026 has been extended by two weeks. The new deadline for submissions is Friday, October 24, 2025 (23:59 UTC+2).

The extension gives potential speakers more time to finalize their proposals for the next edition of Europe’s leading community-driven Java conference. JCON EUROPE will take place April 20–23, 2026, once again at the Cinedom in Cologne – a venue known for its cinema-sized screens and vibrant hallway track atmosphere.

Event Overview

  • April 20 (Mon): Workshop Day / Java Luminaries Summit
  • April 21–23 (Tue–Thu): Main Conference Days, including the Speaker Dinner and VIP networking event

Session Formats

Speakers can choose between:

  • 45-minute sessions (incl. Q&A)
  • 20-minute lightning talks
  • 2-hour hands-on workshops

Topics of Interest

Proposals are invited in areas such as:

  • Core Java and JVM performance tuning
  • Jakarta EE, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut
  • AI for Java – RAG patterns, guardrails, and governance
  • Security and software supply chain management
  • Real-world architecture insights and performance case studies

Speaker Benefits

Accepted speakers receive a full conference pass (including Workshop Day), five additional passes for colleagues or friends, and an invitation to the Speaker Dinner on April 21. Talks are recorded and promoted on social media once the schedule is published.

Submissions are open via Sessionize until October 24, 2025.
