Calling all Java Enthusiasts!

After the huge response to our print specials “30 Years of Java” and “Java 25”, we’re now preparing a brand-new edition for JCON EUROPE 2026.

To mark the release of Java 26, we’re publishing a limited JAVAPRO print special that combines standout JCON content with the key innovations in and around Java 26.

We’d love you to be part of it – by contributing a technical article on your favourite Java topic.

Here’s Why You Should Submit an Article:

  • Unique Reach: The printed JAVAPRO issue is available at many Java conferences, PDF copy is sent to 20,000+ subscribers.
  • Double Promotion: If you write an article related to one of your conference talks, we can refer to your talk in the article.
  • Guaranteed Visibility & Promotion: Accepted articles not included in the print issue will be published online and/or in a special PDF issue within one year.
  • Social Media Visibility: Your article will be promoted intensively multiple times on our social media channels.
  • Perfect Platform: Whether you’re a speaker, blogger, or editor, share your passion for Java! This is your chance to shine.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Articles about Core Java – especially new Java 26 features.
  • Articles about currently popular topics in Java, such as Serverside Java, Architecture & Microservices, APIs & Frameworks, Cloud & Kubernetes, JVM Languages, UI/UX, Testing, Security, Performance, Agile, New Innovations, and of course GenAI with Java.
  • Articles about your JCON session (or another Java conference), even if you were not accepted as a speaker.
  • Articles in English or German, 15,000-20,000 chars long. (With articles in both languages, we can offer you longer visibility via JAVAPRO.)
  • You can submit more than one article.
  • Max. 30 articles can be included.

The Process is Easy:

  • Fill out this form: CfP is Open until November 28, 2025.
  • Confirmation: Just a few days after the CfP has closed, you will receive a confirmation your submission and your spot is safe.
