Stefan Richthofer

After graduating in mathematics, he completed his PhD in computer science, more specifically in computational neuroscience. During and after his PhD, Stefan taught computer science and programming in Java, Python, and C. This combination of languages sparked his interest in the Jython project, and he became a member of the Jython core team in 2016. As part of this journey, Stefan gave talks at the JVM Language Summit and at the Python Language Summit at PyCon US. He also founded two open-source projects and maintained MDP, the "Modular Toolkit for Data Processing," a Python project related to the research group of his PhD. Since 2020, he has been building the APIdia platform to address pain points in current API documentation solutions.
